PRESIDENT

RESPONSIBILITIES

Main

  • Lead weekly chapter

    • Book all the rooms for chapter in the beginning of the semester

  • Update FSA Roster and U of I Connections Roster

  • Ensure that the chapter meets attendance requirements for conferences

  • Go to monthly UGC President meetings

  • Grade Release Cards & GPA Grade Reports:

    • Grade Release Cards: Pick up from FSA and have PNMs sign them and return to FSA before induction

    • GPA Grade Reports: Compile photos of the cumulative + overall GPA for each semester of the active house and send to NB

  • Constitution Waivers

    • This is the form in the back of the President's manual that all sisters should have signed

    • A sister only has to sign once her whole active life

    • Any missing sisters need to be added ASAP

  • Send out RSVP emails to all UGC presidents and to group chats for reveal attendance

    • Keep track of other orgs' reveals; have high attendance rates to support other orgs

    • UGC

    • NATIONAL BOARD

  • CHECK EMAILS VERY OFTEN

    • YOU GET 10-15 EMAILS EVERY COUPLE OF DAYS

  • HAVE GOOD TIME MANAGEMENT

  • BE ASSERTIVE AND OBJECTIVE WHEN GETTING PEOPLE TO GO TO THINGS OR MAKING A DECISION

    • YOU HAVE TO BE FIRM AND GET LOOKED AS THE "ANNOYING ONE WHO WON'T SOMETHING GO" BUT IF IT HAS TO BE DONE OR PEOPLE HAVE TO GO TO SOMETHING, STAND YOUR GROUND
