Checking in bi-weekly with chairholders to ensure that they’re meeting NB requirements.

When meeting with the chairholder(s), have them prepare a tentative calendar of events they are planning and goals that they want to achieve for the semester

Approving event proposals 1 week before sending it to NB.
Secondary

Assisting chairholders with events (set-up, ideas, etc.)

Be honest with chairholders on whether you believe their event idea would be successful, and provide advice / encouragement

Keep chairholders on track

Consistent events throughout the semester rather than towards the end of the semester.

Go over responsibilities & deadlines early on in the semester with individual chairholders & plan a schedule for the semester.

At the beginning of the semester:

Meet with internal minor board positions within the first few weeks of school
Throughout the semester:

Make sure chairholders send the following on time:

Budget Request: 2 weeks before event

Budget Reimbursement: Within 1 week before event

Publicity Blurb Form: 2 weeks in advance of event

Book rooms for any internal minor board events
